PlayStation revealed that for 2019, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was the most downloaded game on the PlayStation Store. For Free-to-Play games, that honor went to Apex Legends while for DLC and Expansions it was all Fortnite. Finally, for VR games, it was none other than Beat Saber.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was released in October and served as a reboot of the Modern Warfare sub-series. The game received mixed reception at launch, with many praising its gameplay, graphics, multiplayer, and story, while also criticizing how the campaign handled certain subject matters.
