The first details on the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remaster are now online, following Monday’s debut of the Infinite Warfare reveal trailer, and it sounds like plenty of work is going into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered before the game heads to PC and consoles later this year.
Infinity Ward is collectively serving as executive producer for the project, which will be developed by Raven Software and released as a pack-in for certain versions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare . According to Activision, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will include the original game’s entire campaign, along with a set of 10 multiplayer maps for the online crowd. A press release for the project says Modern Warfare Remastered will feature updated textures, better animations, improved lighting and all the other benefits of being released on a modern platform.
“Fans will relive the full, iconic campaign as they’re transported around the globe with Capt. Price, Gaz and Soap across all the missions from the original game,” Activision said. ”Players will also experience the online multiplayer mode that redefined Call of Duty by introducing killstreaks, XP, Prestige and more.”
