Call of Duty: Warzone Rebirth of the Dead Game Mode Featured in Season Four Reloaded

Rebirth Island is home to a new game mode now available in Call of Duty: Warzone. In Season Four Reloaded, players can try Rebirth of the Dead, a new limited-time game mode, that brings the classic Zombie Royale experience with a twist.

Before anything, those not familiar with Zombie Royale must know the core objectives. In this 40-player game mode (consisting of 10 squads of four), a player turns into a zombie when they’re killed in action. Antivirals are dropped from dead players or crates, which zombies can take to redeploy as a human; the last team with a human wins.

That said, Rebirth of the Dead brings slight changes to the original. There’s a thing called the Infestation Meter that gets filled up each time a zombie is eliminated. Once the meter is full, all spectators return to the battlefield as zombies, then everything starts again.

Another major difference is that zombies that perform a finishing move on a human will redeploy as one. Additionally, medical supplies will be parachuted during the match, which can help both humans and zombies.

So, what can be gained from partaking in Rebirth of the Dead? Players can get one of two exclusive event Calling Cards by performing specific tasks. The “Head Scratcher” can be acquired by performing a finishing move as a zombie; while the “Last Alive” Calling Card is awarded if the player wins a match as a human.

Cursed Ground

According to developer Raven Software, the Fortune’s Keep map was a major success, so the company is hard at work to include it in private matches in Call of Duty: Warzone.

In addition, a new special event called “Cursed Ground” is now available on the said map. Players can find several Cursed Chests hidden around the island. These hold some high-quality items and power-ups, such as Cash, Killstreaks, equipment, and occasionally, Perk Tokens. Furthermore, the chests can only be unlocked at the end of the game if players have collected enough Wisps.

Once a Cursed Chest is found, players must be ready to eliminate the hordes of zombies that will come swarming to their location. Wisps can be harvested by killing zombies within the vicinity of the chest.
