Clash Of Clans’ December update will introduce a new feature called Clan Games. We don’t officially know what the mode offers yet, but Supercell teased a sneak peek of the name Wednesday morning.
The 10-second teaser shows a Skeleton dropping flyers from a Balloon while the message “the Clan Games are coming” appears on screen. Unfortunately the ad flies right onto the hook of a P.E.K.K.A., so we can’t read the full description. “Compete” and “to be won” are all we can discern at the moment. Slightly different versions of the teaser on YouTube and Instagram feature a Giant and Baby Dragon in place of the P.E.K.K.A., but the text is equally obscured in either case.
The teaser might also offer hints related to a new Balloon level or design considering the popular hovering craft has a fresh blue hue. With the P.E.K.K.A., Giant and Baby Dragon being a part of the sneak peeks, it’s possible they’ll be getting updates too.
Supercell will likely offer a full explanation of the Clan Games feature in a more detailed reveal soon, but until then we can only speculate. It's likely Clan Games will either introduce a larger clan tournament ladder or a tournament ladder that operates from inside a single clan. The official hint has always been that Clash Of Clans’ December update will do more to expand the clans feature. Clan Games appears to be the primary vehicle for making that happen.
We expect even more beyond Clan Games to be revealed in upcoming sneak peeks as well. Supercell has promised the usual set of Clashmas gifts will bring additional troop and spell-related cheer over the holidays. We’ll update this post with more details about Clash Of Clans’ December update as they arrive.
Clash Of Clans is available now on Android and iOS.
