After extensive testing, Update 2.8 for Conan Exiles is now available on the live servers. This patch brings new additions, most notably the new queueing system when joining a server, and the ability to assign emotes to your followers.
Some quality-of-life improvements have been added as well. The developers have swapped the input mapping when using bows with a controller. The left trigger is now used for aiming and pressing the right trigger for shooting. Of course, you can still revert to the old system by toggling the “Invert Bow Controls” option if you’re not comfortable with this change.
In addition, if you plan on replacing a building piece, that piece will be given back to you if it is undamaged or at full health. If the piece is damaged, you’ll be given the equivalent dismantle materials for it.
For bug fixes, players of the Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store game versions who have experienced several crashes when downloading mods need not worry. These issues are already resolved by this update.
