The cs_summit 7 matches between mousesports and Virtus Pro have concluded. The matchup between the two teams was played in a best of three series.
Train was the first map of the series. mousesports started strong with a three-round advantage, however, V.P slowly gained momentum after that. mousesports' Finn "karrigan" Andersen almost clutched a 1v4 situation on Round 11. Karrigan started with an insane one tap and then got two more kills by just spraying his gun down. But Karrigan was unable to get the final kill, as he was up against a sniper who was rather far away. This eventually led to V.P's impressive lead in the first half with a 10-5 scoreline.
mousesports' David "frozen" Čerňanský tried to make an insane play on Round 18. Frozen tried to clutch a 2v5 state by stopping the planter. He killed an opponent and got the round to a 2v3 situation. Yet it didn’t matter in the end as V.P played it smart and took the round instead of throwing it. V.P won the first map with a 16-6 scoreline.
The second and final map was Dust2. V.P hit hard and effectively against mousesports, which couldn't do anything to reverse the oppression. V.P's dominating gameplay took the first half with an 11-4 scoreline. mousesports' Robin "ropz" Kool and Frozen made an amazing play on Round 10 when they flashed into the site and got a quad kill. After the side switch, Virtus Pro only dropped one round and won the final map with a 16-5 scoreline.
