No one can deny that Cyberpunk 2077's Night City looks gorgeous. So, it is only fitting for the game to have a robust photo mode. Yesterday, CD Projekt Red dropped a new photo mode trailer for Cyberpunk 2077. It showcased many options that players can fiddle with to get the best possible picture.
The photo mode seems to feature similar options to what we saw in Death Stranding. When using the photo mode in Cyberpunk 2077, players can edit photos and apply a variety of filters. They can also change the character's pose, facial expression, and more.
Photo mode has recently become a staple for AAA games. The feature has replaced the traditional method of capturing screenshots. It gave players more control over how they want a certain shot to look like. Since fans love sharing their gaming moments on social media, this nifty little photo mode tool encourages them to do so more often. In turn, the game's visibility increases.
Cyberpunk 2077's photo mode features six tabs: camera, depth of field, pose, effect, stickers, and load/save. The camera tab will allow players to adjust the camera position, rotation, and field of view. The depth of field setting is pretty much self-explanatory. The pose tab includes several options. Players can tinker with, among others, pose category, muzzle flash, expressions, and character visibility. The effect tab will let players adjust exposure, contrast, highlights, and different filters. The sticker tab is all about adding one or more stickers and backgrounds to captured photos.
Given how beautiful the dystopian setting of Cyberpunk 2077 looks, there's no doubt that I'll be spending hours taking thousands of photos to show off on the internet.
Cyberpunk 2077 is launching on December 10 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Google Stadia.
