Cyberpunk 2077 is the biggest game of 2020, there’s no doubt about that. Fans have waited for more than eight years and their hype has reached an incredible level. The game has received critical praise from many game review websites, minus a few. However, all complained about one thing: bugs, lots and lots of bugs.
CyberBugs 2077?
A game as big as Cyberpunk is expected to have some bugs. But the game is riddled with so many bugs, playing is problematic. Players are experiencing constant crashes, audio issues, clipping, and more. Some are even game-breaking which made it too difficult to progress through. These are issues reported after the massive Day One update .
CD Projekt is likely working on future patches to fix these problems quickly. Even Witcher 3 had a plethora of bugs and look at it now, you'll be lucky to find a single issue there.
Record-Breaking Steam Players
The current Steam rating of the game only sits at 73%. That’s not very impressive for a game with this much hype. Still, Cyberpunk 2077 sold like crazy. The game has more than one million concurrent players on Steam alone. That’s not counting players from GOG, Epic Games Store, and other platforms.
It is the only single-player game to reach one million-plus concurrent players on Steam. The previous record was held by Fallout 4 and even that game only had 472,962 concurrent players. Of course, the number will go down eventually. But it could have been even higher if the game was in a much better state.
I am going to come out and say it, maybe the game needed a fourth delay. Yes, the fan would have pissed, again, but at least the final product would have been better. Anyway, there are still tons of other open worlds games for you to enjoy while you wait for Cyberpunk to improve. Check our previous article about them here.
