Cyberpunk 2077 is getting closer. At the time of writing, the game is only eight hours away. To celebrate the game's launch, the developer released one more trailer yesterday, which you can watch below. The launch trailer is quite different from the previous trailer. This one has a more dramatic flair.
Cyberpunk 2077 — Official Launch Trailer — V also contains an Easter egg or should I say a message for fans. It doesn’t give any new information about the game. But it reassures previous promises and claims.
CD Projekt promises that substantial expansion packs are coming in the future. However, they are not willing to reveal more information about them just yet . They said: “Our planned expansions will take you even deeper into the world of Cyberpunk 2077, offering substantial, story-driven content that'll give you tough choices to make through impactful narratives that you won't soon forget”. If Cyberpunk expansion packs are anything like Witcher 3’s Heart of Stone and Blood and Wine, then I'm already sold.
Developers assured as well that just like Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077 will get a plethora of free DLCs . The free DLC program will start in early 2021. They are probably not going to add a lot of content, just something to keep the player base interested. Not to mention, a free next-gen update for new consoles and PC is coming too.
Cyberpunk 2077 will launch tomorrow on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG). The game is playable on Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 via backward compatibility.
A multiplayer version of Cyberpunk is currently in development. CD Projekt claimed that it will not be a mode but a completely different game . The company will release more information about the MP game next year.
