It’s finally time to see what 31st Century Earth is all about as DC Universe Online is launching its newest episode with “Long Live the Legion.” There’s going to be new daily and weekly Open World missions along with raid-like world bosses. Expect as well a normal and elite Alert and Raid.
To be able to play this new content, players need to have a character that is at least level 30 and a Combat rating of at least 310. However, for a limited time, DCUO is offering special “event” versions of all content for this new episode, making it available to players who are at least level 15.
So, what is this new episode all about? The Legion of Super-Heroes remains locked in a battle with the timeless sorcerer known as Mordru. Unable to defeat the team, Mordru has come up with a new plan, which is to destroy the past in order to win the future. The Legionnaires also have a plan of their own, which is to get help from the heroes of the past. The question that remains is are you going to answer the call of Saturn Girl, Cosmic Boy, and Lightning Lad?
Here are the details of what has been revealed so far by DCUO for this new episode:
- New Open World Missions – 31st Century: New Earth
- Look for 31st Century: New Earth in your Warp Menu or use the teleporter in the Watchtower or Hall of Doom
- New Daily and Weekly missions in 31st Century: New Earth
- Minimum Level: 15
- New Alert and Elite Alert – Legion HQ
- Overview: The Legion has invited you to their Headquarters for orientation and evaluations. After all, time travel always has some unexpected side-effects.
- Here’s what you need to do:
- Open your On Duty Menu and look for Legion: Legion HQ under Tier 10 of the 4 Player Tab. Combat Rating: 310
- For the Event Version – look Legion: Legion HQ (Event) in the On Duty Menu under the Events Tab. Minimum Level: 15
- New Raid and Elite Raid – Legion: Convergence of Unmaking
- Overview: Mordru's ritual has started and there is now the risk of the 21st century being erased from history. It’s time to head to Mordru’s lair.
- Here’s what you need to do:
- Open your On Duty Menu and look Legion: Convergence of Unmaking under Expert Tier 10 of the 8 Player Tab. Combat Rating: 310
- For the Event Version – look for Legion: Convergence of Unmaking (Event) in the On Duty Menu under the Events Tab. Minimum Level: 15
- New Gear, Base Items, Feats and More
- Earn new event currencies: Solar Credits and Time Beacons.
- New Artifacts and Augments
- Get new gear inspired by Emerald Empress and Cosmic Boy.
- Collect new base items, feats, and more.
