The 27th Chapter of Dead by Daylight is set to bring something cool to the game. Titled “Tools of Torment,” it’s a return to modern times with the introduction of a killer having twisted tech. There are also sibling survivors who fight for their lives in the Fog. This new chapter arrives in the game March 7 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
The Bonds that Tie
The new survivors are the sister and brother duo of Thalita and Renato Lyra. Hailing from Brazil, they're the first survivor siblings to be pulled together into the Fog. The two serve as beacons of light in their community and have been using their kite-flying business to mentor children. They're positive, caring, and creative that make them a good addition to any group of survivors. These qualities are best shown in the unique Teamwork Perks, which benefit those who decide to work together.
Going Hi-Tech
Known within the business world as Adriana Imai, this wealthy high-powered tech executive is the first original modern female slasher to be introduced to the game. She's known by the public for her aggressive buying and absorption of smaller companies.
However, it is her alter ego, The Skull Merchant, that should be feared. For her, the thrill is in the hunt. Wanting to be an apex hunter in a world full of prey, she's been using her resources to look for adversaries that she hopes is worthy to go against her.
The Skull Merchant’s power is known as Eyes in the Sky, which puts modern tech in the hands of a killer for the first time, allowing her to position four drones to monitor survivors. While there's no question that she has the resources needed to buy the best in the world, The Skull Merchant prefers to build the drones herself. Each drone has been created around a former victim's skull - a combination of tech and bone. To survive against The Skull Merchant, the trick is to disable these drones before she is alerted.

The Hunting Camp of The Skull Merchant is added to the existing map of MacMillan Estate’s Shelter Woods. It’s formed by multiple connected shipping containers and is a true representation of this killer’s two worlds.
The upper container lies the executive suite which is clean, luxurious, and comes equipped with only premium commodities. However, beneath it lies the Grim Workshop which is bathed in oil and blood. The is the place where The Skull Merchant not only tinkers to build her tools but also where she houses many of her gruesome trophies.
The Skull Merchant and the siblings are coming to the game courtesy of Patch 6.6.0, currently in PTB.
