The previous update of Dead by Daylight was focused on new content, featuring the Artist (Carmina Mora), Jonah Vasquez, and the Eyrie of Crows. This time, the new patch is all about fixing numerous bugs.
If you played the game recently, you may have encountered an issue where the Crow Food archive challenge was not gaining progress even though you’re doing the right thing. This was caused by a bug that the developers squashed in Patch 5.4.1.
Some people may have exploited a bug where survivors could still completely open the hatch even in a dying state. In this patch, it is no longer possible.
The Coup de Grâce perk was buggy because whenever a generator was completed, it would generate too many tokens. These tokens can be consumed to increase the distance of your next Lunge Attack by up to 60%. As you can see, this can be unfair for those who do not have this perk. Thankfully, you can now breathe a sigh of relief as this issue has been resolved.
