'The Sims 4' Update Brings Surprising Drop From EA
EA has made a massive announcement via "The Sims" X account, sharing the latest content to enjoy on "The Sims 4." This is a surprising drop from EA as it only previously shared information on scheduled releases for February, March, and May.
What this means is that the content drop for April has come as a complete surprise as the company never hinted on any releases for the month.

According to GameRant, this latest update from EA is not a grand drop for "The Sims 4" that has a main theme of celebrating "Pride" or the LGBTQ++ community.
The short video from EA showcased the new items for stylizing one's sim. There are new clothes to apply to one's in-game avatar, as well as face paint, tattoos, and more. Moreover, EA also included a new button-up shirt in a checkered design, jean shorts (popularly known as "jorts"), and more.
Apart from character customization items, EA also shared new wall decorations and beddings to apply in one's home or apartment, which are available right in the base version of the game.
Several of the Pride-themed releases from EA includes new knee socks, Converse shoes, bedspreads, and wall art.
Should You Still Play 'The Sims 4' Amidst New Rivals?
The massive promise by EA for this year's 25th-anniversary celebration of "The Sims" is that there is more content coming to "The Sims 4" for the world to enjoy, including both free and paid expansions to the game.
While "The Sims 4" may be an old game, EA is still showing massive support for it with new content, making it competitive despite other similar games being made available in the market.
