If you have been playing Destiny for a while, you definitely know who Xur is and have a good idea about all the exotics he gives you weekly. This week, you can find Xur on Nessus at Watchers Grave on the Barge.
Xur’s inventory for the week of August 7 consists of the following:
- Merciless, Exotic Fusion Rifle: 29 Legendary Shards
- Gemini Jester, Exotic Hunter Leg Armor: 23 Legendary Shards
- Peregrine Greaves, Exotic Titan Leg Armor: 23 Legendary Shards
- Nezarec's Sin, Exotic Warlock Helmet: 23 Legendary Shards
Merciless:
Merciless is an exotic fusion rifle. Its exotic perk, Conserve Momentum, allows the fusion rifle to burst faster for every hit. This weapon is super useful for raids and PvE in general. If you don’t have this weapon, it’s worth the shards. While there are better options such as Telesto and Loaded Question, Merciless is still a decent grab.
Gemini Jester:
Gemini Jester is an exotic Hunter leg armor. Its exotic perk, Misdirection, allows you to disorient your opponents when you dodge near them. It’s only useful in PvP and not really effective, as you also have to be really close to your opponents to make use of the ability. The elemental roll comes with a total of 65 stats.
Peregrine Greaves:
Peregrine Greaves is an exotic Titan leg armor. Its exotic perk, Peregrine Strike, grants additional damage to charging abilities such as shoulder dash, but the ability has to be executed when in mid-air. It’s some really good armor as it deals a ton of damage and it can be used in PvP and PvE for mini-bosses. The elemental roll comes with a total of 64 stats.
Nezarec's Sin:
Nezarec's Sin is an exotic Warlock helmet. Its exotic perk, Abyssal Extractors, grants your ability to recharge after void kills. Nezarec's Sin is not really good unless you like running a void setup. It is mainly used in PvP, as you will need the ability frequently. The elemental roll comes with a total of 65 stats.
