A new patch for Destiny: Rise Of Iron hit the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live on Thursday, ahead of what is sure to be a busy weekend of Xur visits and Wrath of the Machine raids, and players everywhere want to know what’s changing in the shared-world shooter this week. Thankfully, patch notes for Destiny hotfix 2.4.0.3 are already available for perusal.
The bulk of the changes in this week's patch focus on Strikes. The changes included in Destiny hotfix 2.4.0.3 aren't the sort of thing the average player will notice, since they focus on bugs that skewed the Light level of post-Strike drops, but hardcore Destiny players will undoubtedly welcome the adjustments. Those who've been spending time in the Archon's Forge should also be pleased to hear forge offerings will drop a bit more frequently and that completing a Forge activity now has a higher chance of yielding an offering, too.
Shockingly, Destiny hotfix 2.4.0.3 doesn't appear to include a fix for the Wrath of the Machine exploit that popped up this week. So if you're still struggling with the raid's second boss, and your team would rather skip the encounter entirely, just click through to our guide. But enough about raids. Let's get to the meat and potatoes of this week's patch, just in case you're one of the folks suffering from the bugs eliminated by this week's Destiny: Rise Of Iron update.
