Diablo Immortal Season Three has begun, and it is called “Aspect of Justice.” Like any new season in the game, there’s a new battle pass that gives rewards just by leveling it up. A new daily event is also introduced that will keep players busy this August.
New Battle Pass
The “Aspect of Justice” battle pass features 40 ranks worth of rewards, some of which include Legendary Gems, Crests, and Hilts. Players can pay $4.99 to get the Empowered version of the battle pass, which gives extras, such as the Aspect of Justice weapon cosmetic (Rank 1) and the Aspect of Justice armor cosmetic (Rank 40).
For those who do not mind spending $14.99, the Collector’s Empowered battle pass gives all rewards mentioned, plus the Aspect of Justice avatar frame, portal cosmetic, and a ten-rank level boost.
The Season Three battle pass runs until September 1 at 2:59 a.m. server time.
New Daily Event
Diablo Immortal players will get their hands full in Season Three, thanks to the Wrathborne Invasion daily event. At 12:00 p.m server time each day, players can band together to fight waves of minions from the Burning Hells. If they’re successful in quelling the horde, players will face an empowered mirror image of Gorgothra, the boss of the said event.
Defeating Gorgothra awards players with gear, with the top three damage dealers of the group receiving an additional six Enchanted Dust for their efforts.
Update
Blizzard gets transparent with the company’s update cadence for Diablo Immortal moving forward. The company intends to release an update every two weeks, which will come as mini and major patches.
Mini updates provide new content such as battle pass seasons, in-game events, and feature updates. Major updates, on the other hand, will introduce new gameplay features, free storyline expansions, and more.
Speaking of updates, there’s also a bug fix patch released for Season Three. Here are some of the changes:
- Fixed an issue that would prevent players from receiving the Shadows intro quest if their clan converted to Shadows while they were offline.
- Fixed an issue that prevented players from signing up for the Shadow Lottery and displayed the number of participants as zero.
- Fixed an issue that would cause players to get stuck during the Prison of the Scorpion quest.
- Fixed an issue that prevented party invitations from being sent to players while in certain areas of Bilefen.
- Fixed an issue that would allow overworld map pins to be visible inside of the dungeon map.
