A new DLC is now available for theHunter: Call of the Wild and it introduces a new reserve. Rancho del Arroyo brings new animal species and an exciting storyline. This new area is inspired by the Sonoran Desert located in Northern Mexico.
The new DLC is offered at Steam with a 25% discount, now priced at $5.99, until July 7.
Uncover Secrets
This latest DLC offers a new story where players need to solve a 100-year old family mystery. It starts with warden Salvador Soto Muñoz going back to his childhood home and taking over the family ranch. Instead of continuing the ranch, he sells the cattle and turns it into a biosphere reserve.
With the reopening weeks away, Salvador is asking assistance to make sure that the reserve is indeed a good hunting ground. It is during this time that players uncover some long-lost secrets.
Go Hunting
Players will discover that Rancho del Arroyo really is a good hunting spot. Across the plains, for example, are the Whitetail Deer, Mule Deer, and Bighorn Sheep. Moving towards the river, there is a chance to find the Rio Grande Turkey. There are also the Ring-Necked Pheasant, Collared Peccary, and Coyote.
Even in the night, the hunt doesn’t stop with the Mexican Bobcat making its presence felt.
Players can also try to hunt with the Couso Model 1897 16-gauge pump-action shotgun. This weapon is not only a favorite of hunters but even for police officers and soldiers. It can carry five shells through its tubular magazine and can fire multiple shots in quick succession. This makes it a truly versatile weapon and a must for skilled hunters.
