The highly-anticipated reboot of DOOM finally has a release date, May 13. Publisher Bethesda also pulled back the curtain on what the collector’s edition will look like, what the pre-order bonuses will be and even released a new story trailer.
The trailer is filled with everything we’ve come to hope from DOOM. That is to say, there’s tons of blood, demons getting killed, limbs getting ripped off and more.
If you aren’t here for the blood and action, there’s also a story in DOOM. Playing as the iconic DOOM Marine, you must save the Union Aerospace Corporation’s Mars facility from demons.
As for the collector’s edition, those who purchase will be treated to a 12” statue of a Revenant. This statue has an LED-lit base and will slowly spin around. Those who get the collector’s edition will also be receiving a metal case for their disc.
The collector’s edition will cost $119.99, and is available for pre-order right now.
If you pre-order any version of DOOM, you will get the Demon Multiplayer Pack. This includes exclusive items such as a demon armor set with three skin variations, six metallic paint colors and three id logo patterns for your weapons and armor, and a set of six Hack Modules. These Modules are consumable items that give players an edge in multiplayer matches.
