Drake has released two new songs ahead of this month’s release of Views from the 6. ‘Pop Style’ and ‘One Dance’ vary wildly in terms of tone and content. The latter will definitely resonate in nightclubs, whereas ‘Pop Style’ offers a trap-influenced lyrical track that features two hip-hop heavyweights - Kanye West and Jay-Z. The only problem is that HOV spits literally two lines in preparation of Kanye’s much longer verse, and naturally Twitter can’t get over it.
Memes poking fun of Jay-Z’s miniscule verse are spreading across Twitter like wildfire. Granted, the two lines are actually pretty dope (“They still out to get me, they don’t get it // I cannot be gotten, that’s a given”), the statement HOV made is really asking for it.
