EA has just surprised EA Access subscribers by including the hit original Plants vs. Zombies in the EA access Vault. While this is a nice gesture, it also raises some exciting questions.
Seeing as how Plants vs. Zombies is an Xbox 360 game, its inclusion in the EA Access Vault on Xbox One shows that EA is including Backward Compatible games in their subscription program. The EA Access Twitter account has also confirmed more Xbox 360 games are coming as they get included in the Backward Compatibility program. If EA were to include their full library of Xbox 360 games in EA Access, the value of the service would skyrocket.
So what could come next to EA Access? One of the biggest games would be Mass Effect. We already know that the first Mass Effect is working on Backward Compatibility. Heck, I’ve even played it myself. Adding Mass Effect to EA Access seems like it would be incredibly simple.
We’ve also been teased again and again about the Skate franchise, specifically Skate 3, getting added to Backwards Compatibility. That’s another EA game, and would round out the EA Access catalogue quite nicely.
So what do you think? Are you going to subscribe to EA Access if they start including more Xbox 360 games? What do you hope gets added next? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
