The BLAST Premier matches between Evil Geniuses and Complexity have concluded. The matchup between the two teams was played in a best of three series.
The first map of the series was Inferno. EG started the match by rushing into the site where they just walked and cut off Complexity’s rotation. This allowed EG to win the first two rounds, however, Complexity was able to win the round after by doing a full buy on round three. Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke from Complexity got a triple kill in round six, which won them the round. The first half ended on 8-7 in favor of Complexity.
After the side switch, Complexity was dominating EG as most rounds went flawless for them. After round 24, EG switched up its playstyle that allowed them to catch up with Complexity. However, in the end, Complexity was able to win the first map with a 16-12 scoreline, and Benjamin "blameF" Bremer carried the team with 28 kills.
The second map played was Mirage. Complexity was quite dominating in the second map as well as they won multiple rounds by rushing and playing aggressively. This let them take the first half with an 11-4 scoreline. k0nfig played an important role for Complexity as the entry fragger who won most of the gunfights. EG managed to get a single round in between but it didn’t matter in the end as Complexity won the group finals with a 16-5 scoreline.
Konfig carried Complexity with 42 kills in both maps, while the majority of Complexity went positive in terms of K/D, which is an excellent job.
