Bethesda announced on Nov. 7 that Fallout 4 will finally have mod support on the PS4 and will run the native 4K hosted by the PS4 Pro.
What are the specifics of the mods you ask? Well, we don’t know exactly, but in a tweet shared via the Fallout Twitter account said, “Stay tuned for updates”.
Looks like the wait will be a little longer. However, we do expect the impending update for mod support for Fallout 4 on the PS4 to arrive some time this month.
Just a month ago, Bethesda pointed its finger at Sony for the holdup of mod support for the PlayStation 4 for both Fallout 4 and Skyrim, while Xbox and PC players had a field day. Fallout 4 players will no doubt rejoice as Bethesda and Sony finally come to an agreement after months of delay!
However, there is one condition – players won’t be able to use external assets with PS4 mods, which means we’ll be limited to those that are actually in-game.
Bethesda also released a new Fallout 4 1.8 update for PC. The “bug fix” specific update is live as of today, Nov. 7. Meanwhile, the update is currently still in certification for Xbox One and PS4. At least we have some good news, right?
See the patch notes for the 1.8 update below.
