Good news Fallout 76 players! The Public Test Server for the game could start today, May 14. The PTS includes the whole Steel Reign questline where players can finally see how the Brotherhood of Steel story ends. Other features expected include the Legendary Crafting system, Meat Week Seasonal Event, and legendary attribute rebalancing work.
Bethesda mentioned in a post that if anything does come up today, the reopening of the PTS could be moved to next week. By the way, there’s also a plan to add some pre-made characters to the accounts of players. The goal is to make sure that players can immediately take on the Steel Reign questline.
Incoming Update
For those keeping tabs on the updates planned for the game, the earliest is likely the Steel Reign Update arriving sometime in July. But before that, there’s a small patch scheduled to roll out on May 25. In addition to fixing some of the bugs reported by the community, this incoming update does the prep work for the game’s Steel Reign. Players can also expect new items to be available in the Atomic Shop.
Double S.C.O.R.E.
As Commissioner Chaos takes on Armor Ace, players can get new Double S.C.O.R.E. this weekend. It started May 13 and ends May 17. For the duration of the event, the Daily Challenges offer double the usual S.C.O.R.E. This should help players get a better position on the scoreboard and speed up their claim of rank-up rewards.
Atomic Shop
Speaking of the Atomic Shop, there are some interesting offers this week like the different weekly free items and the Responders Bundle. You can view all the offers here.
