Far Cry New Dawn releases on Friday, and thousands of gamers around the globe want to know exactly when they can return to Hope County, Montana. The good news is you’ll be able to start right when the clock strikes midnight.
If you’re picking up a physical copy of Far Cry New Dawn, you’re pretty much at the mercy of your local retailer. GameStop and Best Buy likely will not host midnight release launches for Far Cry New Dawn, but there are plenty of big releases on February 15, so this is a possibility. If you want to get a physical copy, give the stores in your area a call to see if they will be open late. The most reliable way to play Far Cry New Dawn as soon as possible is to pre-order your copy on PSN, Xbox Live or Uplay for PC gamers.
According to the PlayStation Store, Far Cry New Dawn will be playable at 12:00 a.m. EST on Friday morning, which means most of the United States will actually get access to the game late Thursday night. The Xbox Store lists a similar 12:00 a.m. release time, but doesn’t confirm if this is tied to the time zone where you live or not. The Uplay store is similar to the Xbox Store, with a midnight release time that probably is tied to your time zone. All three services allow for pre-loading though, so you can get everything installed now while you wait for it to unlock.
Here’s a quick conversion chart for the rest of the country:
