Disney Pixar just released a brief teaser for Finding Dory, the highly anticipated sequel that follows the forgetful blue tang we first met in Finding Nemo. Only this animated studio can create such a heartwarming 30-second clip that features a character we last saw in 2003 (that was 13 years ago!).
The teaser opens with Chi-Lites' classic "Have You Seen Her," and features an adorable Dory coming to a stop after noticing the movie title just hanging out in the middle of the ocean.
"OK, where is everyone?," asks Dory, voiced by comedian and television host Ellen DeGeneres. "Finding Dory, OH! Wait a second... that sounds like a fun challenge. Hey, Dory's missing, we gotta find her! Where is everyone? Everyone, let's work together. We can find her!"
Whether Dory realizes or not, that's exactly what her friends are desperately trying to do. Finding Dory will follow Dory on her quest to find her long-lost family as well as her new family's quest to bring her home. Albert Brooks will reprise as Marlin, while Hayden Rolence is the new voice of Nemo, formally voiced by Alexander Gould.
Other voices that join the aquatic cast include Idris Elba, Dominic West, Ed O’Neill, Diane Keaton, Eugene Levy, Katilin Olson and Ty Burrell.
As the teaser announced, a brand-new Finding Dory trailer will debut on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on March 2. All we can say is, "Daaam Ellen! Back at it again with the blue fish!"
