A brand new Fire Emblem Fates DLC map has launched for the popular Nintendo 3DS game; this time, Anna from Awakening joins the fight.
When Fire Emblem Fates was released in Japan in 2015, Anna’s return was confirmed and her DLC map revealed. But now, everywhere else in the world, the “Anna on the Run” map brings the titular character to your game for you to recruit.
Siliconera has a detailed layout of the actual map, which is based off of Awakening’s fourth Paralogue and has the same background story. Anna, the thief, is being chased by bandits and it’s up to your army to reach her before she is attacked.
Like many maps in Fire Emblem where you have to reach a character before the AI does, you’ll want to bring units that can move long distances. Use your Pegasus Knights, Dragon Riders and the like to give her support while the rest of your army gets to her.
Anna in Fire Emblem Fates is an Outlaw and can be promoted to Adventurer, Bow Knight, Maid, Mechanist, Merchant, and Strategist, according to Siliconera. Her only possible supports are Corrin and, if she marries a male Corrin, Kana.
The “Anna on the Run” DLC map costs $1.99, and there’s another (free) Anna-based map coming soon.
