Now that Fire Emblem Heroes is available for Android and iOS, Nintendo is celebrating the launch with weekly special maps for players to receive Orbs for summoning new heroes to join their army.
Starting Feb. 6, a new special map in Fire Emblem Heroes will appear every Monday until March 14. Here’s the schedule for the special maps coming in February and March.
These special maps will give players new places to train their heroes and win precious Orbs in the process. Each first clear of the special maps will gift three Orbs, so be sure to bring your strongest teams into battle.
There are two difficulties on the special maps, normal and hard, with the hard difficulty map being a survival type of map. Every member of your team must be alive. When one character is defeated you lose and have to start over (or use an Orb to revive and heal everyone).
We won’t spoil who you’ll encounter in the first celebratory special map, but you will encounter four characters: a lance user, two archers and a blue tome user. Be sure to bring in plenty of axe or green tome users and stay away from using any characters who ride Wyverns or Pegasus.
