Recruiting characters to your army in Fire Emblem Heroes is different than in the other titles. Not having to complete certain parts of the main campaign or complete a map a certain way, Heroes lets players obtain Orbs to randomly acquire heroes.
Each character in Fire Emblem Heroes is ranked on a star rating from one to five, with five being the highest.
Stars determine how many Skills a Fire Emblem character can obtain when they gain enough Skill Points. A five-star character will have five skills to use in battle, but there is actually a rank higher than five stars. A five-star focus Hero will be stronger than their normal five-star counterpart, and currently there are only eight characters that have this distinction.
There are two sets of heroes you can purchase from: Legendary Heroes and Deep Devotion. Each set has four five-star focus characters that the other doesn’t. While the other characters are the same, players will want to try their luck getting these powerful heroes.
The rarity rate for Legendary Heroes is 3.25 percent for both five-star and five-star focus heroes. Deep Devotion’s rate is three percent for both.
