Fortnite and EDM DJ Marshmello are teaming up for an in-game concert tomorrow, February 2. While the event is free for anyone to join, you’ll need to be there at the right time to catch Marshmello’s set. Here’s everything you need to know about the Fortnite Marshmello concert before it begins.
How to Watch Marshmello Concert in Fortnite
The concert begins at 2 p.m. EDT, and takes place at a stage built next to the stadium in Pleasant Park. To watch the concert, you will need to log into Fortnite and make your way to the stage to hear the music.
Make sure Fortnite is up to date on your PC or console by tonight or tomorrow morning. There’s nothing worse than trying to log into a game only to find you need to wait while the latest patch is applied.
While it is unknown at this time if the concert will be streamed on any official Fortnite channels, it’s very likely someone will be streaming the show on Twitch or something similar. If you can’t make it to your console for the show, check online to see if you can catch a stream from a fan.
Epic Games has cleared the concert with Marshmello, so content creators will have no issues releasing content from the concert. That said, the videos and streams of the concert will need to be demonetized to keep the content posted.
Fortnite Marshmello Skins
As an added bonus, Epic Games has created a series of Marshmello-themed items for players to purchase. Keep an eye out for the Marshmello Fortnite skin, the Mello Rider Glider and the Marsh Walk dance seen in the tweet above. These items are now available in the item shop.
If you want some IRL swag, Marshmello has released a line of clothing in collaboration with Fortnite. Items include a Marshmello cartoon character gliding around on a glider, a shirt with a mock Fortnite blueprint on it and more. Check out the full line at the Marshmello shop.
