A live-action trailer for Quantum Break has been released and it stars many famous faces, especially if you like HBO programming. Give it a watch for yourself below:
This trailer, courtesy of Mashable, shows Aiden Gillen (best known for his roles on Game of Thrones and The Wire) in a hostile interview with Shawn Ashmore’s character Jack Joyce. Ashmore may look familiar if you’ve seen any of the X-Men movies, as he plays the character Iceman. Along the way, Lance Reddick, also known for his role on The Wire, shows up.
Other notable actors not seen in the trailer include Dominic Monaghan from The Lord of the Rings trilogy and LOST who will be playing Joyce’s brother William. Keeping with the HBO theme, True Blood’s Amelia Rose Blaire will also be playing a character named Amy Ferraro in Quantum Break.
As one would hope, this trailer also features some cool time-bending segments, along with an explosion or two for good measure. These live-action segments will actually end up becoming a part of Quantum Break, with scenes playing out differently depending on what choices players make.
Quantum Break releases for Xbox One and PC on April 5. Those who pre-order a copy of the game will get a download of the Xbox 360 game Alan Wake’s American Nightmare. This is now playable on Xbox One thanks to the Backward Compatibility program.
