Microsoft has confirmed the free Games With Gold list coming to Xbox Live Gold subscribers in May. Thanks to April being so amazing, May looks even more dull than it normally would. Let’s dive in and see what we have this month.

Xbox One

The first game coming to Xbox One in May is Defense Grid 2. This tower defense game sees players defeating aliens with high-tech weaponry. Graphics look nice and crisp, especially for the kind of game it is. Defense Grid 2 will be available to download for free from May 1 to 31.

The second game coming to Xbox One in May is Costume Quest 2. Following the cute and funny success of the original, Double Fine has returned with its Halloween themed RPG. Costume Quest 2 will be available to download from May 16 to June 15.

Xbox 360

Xbox 360 gamers will get to put the pedal to the metal on May 1 with GRID 2. This racing game sees players racing all over the world in cars spanning four decades of engineering. GRID 2 will be available to download for free from May 1 to May 15.

The second Xbox 360 game coming is the now-classic hit Peggle. This puzzle game sees players shooting a ball into a group of blocks in an attempt to clear all the blocks from each stage. While sounding simple, this game will keep you sucked in with its depth. Peggle will be available to download for free from May 16 to 31.
