Music lovers and gamers alike have a chance to rejoice with the release of Geminose: Animal Popstars on Nintendo Switch. The game is available at the Nintendo eShop and priced at $39.
In the game, players get to meet 10 unique animal musicians. They then learn more about the culture of each musician and even cook their favorite dishes. Of course, the ultimate goal is to form a band with these animal musicians and perform on the stage. There are more than 20 original songs to play, along with 30 unique instruments to use.
In addition to playing on the big stage, players can also help the Geminose dress the part so that they’re always ready to face the spotlight. Players can enjoy decorating their rooms as well through various collectible items.
Now it’s not all performances since there are seven different mini-games for everyone to try. One of these mini-games is Cupcake Samurai where players can slice and dice baked goods. Players can also go to the kitchen and try to make food based on recipes from the culture of each Geminose.
It goes without saying that the life of a superstar can sometimes get lonely so why not bring along some friends? Geminose: Animal Popstars offers co-op play to up the enjoyment with friends. The local two-player mode in particular offers full joy-con support.
