New footage from Ghost Recon Wildlands is out this week, revisiting the mission shown during E3 2016, and our latest look at the game focuses on the quieter strategies your group might employ when Ghost Recon Wildlands debuts next March.
We got a chance to play Ghost Recon Wildlands back in June. But let’s just say our first trip to Bolivia didn’t quite uphold the spectral namesake of the organization. After blowing our cover relatively early in the mission, we pretty much had to shoot our way in and out of the base we’d been asked to extract someone from. It was pretty much the exact opposite of stealthy. That said, It seems like we weren’t the only ones who struggled, because Ubisoft published a new Ghost Recon Wildlands gameplay video featuring a mostly-quiet run of the same mission.
Things get a little heated near the end, especially once the squad starts freeing prisoners, but it was more than enough to show the many ways you can quietly get in/out of enemy territory. You’d be surprised how much action there is the “stealth” run, too. Now we’re just hoping our own teams can manage something half as coordinated as Ubisoft’s latest Ghost Recon Wildlands demo.
