The star-studded lineup for Glastonbury Festival 2016 includes Adele, Muse, Coldplay, PJ Harvey and Jeff Lynne’s ELO as headliners. Organizers announced the festival’s full lineup Tuesday.
The festival takes place in Pilton, England from June 22 -26. Tickets have not yet been made available, but with the lineup announced, it shouldn’t be long before passes go on sale.
Critics have spoken out against Adele headlining Glastonbury, stating the soul artist is “too boring” to headline such a music festival, Pitchfork reported. Adele publicly responded to her detractors at a concert in London in mid-March, stating, "And to the people who say I am too boring to headline, you're more fucking boring for moaning about me headlining."
Among the artists scheduled to perform is the recently reunited LCD Soundsystem, which will play several festivals throughout the summer, including Coachella, Lollapalooza and Panorama. The band began its reunion tour last weekend at New York’s Webster Hall.
