Horizon Zero Dawn , the former PlayStation-exclusive title is currently on sale for PC. You can grab the futuristic post-apocalyptic game with a 40% discount, which will only cost you $30. However, I recommend that you grab it fast because it will only last till April 12 on Steam, and after, that it will go back to the full price of $50. You can purchase the game on Epic Games Store as well where it's offered at the same discounted price, but with a longer sale deadline of April 25.
There’s only one edition of the game available on PC, the Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition. This edition gives you the base game along with all its DLCs, including the Frozen Wilds expansion pack. You will also get a Digital Artbook if you are into that kind of thing. The said edition features the following extras:
- Carja Storm Ranger Outfit and Carja Mighty Bow
- Carja Trader Pack
- Banuk Trailblazer Outfit and Banuk Culling Bow
- Banuk Traveller Pack
- Nora Keeper Pack
Horizon Zero Dawn received critical reception from both fans and critics. The game even spawned a sequel called Horizon Forbidden West , which will release in Q4 of 2021, assuming that there are no more delays. Unfortunately, the sequel is only confirmed on PlayStation 4 and 5, and no word for a PC release yet. Still, we sincerely hope it will eventually launch on PC.
Before you decide to buy the game, make sure that your hardware can run it. Feel free to check out our previous article about the official PC system requirements of HZD .
There is another PS exclusive game coming to PC, Days Gone expected to release in Q2 of 2021 for Microsoft Windows. After that, there is a “whole slate” of PS games that will arrive on PC. Oh boy, do I hope for God of War and Spiderman (2018).
