It’s time for another weekly update for Grand Theft Auto Online, and this week we’ve got a new supercar on the loose, as well as a ton of opportunities for 2X GTA$ & RP on top of the current payouts, some more rewards for Diamond Program members and even more bonuses and rewards for players who’ve linked their Twitch Prime account to the Rockstar Social Club.
Kicking things off is the brand-new supercar that’s sure to turn some heads: the Progen Emerus, a self-proclaimed king among cars with an incredibly refined look on top of that horsepower that will please all speed freaks. The Progen Emerus is now available at Legendary Motorsport.
Take a break off racing actual cars and doing dangerous jobs for paltry payouts this week, and make your way to where it’s at: racing small remote-controlled cars. It’s safe (relatively) and the chances of you dying are extremely low, and on top of all that there are 2X GTA$ & RP rewards on the revamped RC Time Trials. Ever since the release of The Diamond Casino & Resort a few weeks ago, Time Trial payouts have been permanently increased from GTA$50K to GTA$100K, and as such there’s no better time to dust off your RC Bandito and smash other players’ records to pieces.
In addition to RC Time Trials, Arena War Stories will also be paying out 2X GTA$ & RP until August 21, so be sure to join the mayhem in the Maze Bank Arena for a lot more cash.
Spinning in the lobby of the Diamond this week is the Dinka Jester Classic, a timeless racing icon. Give the Lucky Wheel its free daily spin for a chance to win the former, as well as some opportunities to win GTA$, RP, clothing and more. There’s also some new swag available at the Casino Store, with returning items such as the Broker Silk Robe and Chips Earrings for those looking to live the luxurious lifestyle.

As is the case for nearly every week now, Twitch Prime members who linked their accounts to the Social Club before August 12 can now claim their free Master Penthouse in-game. In addition, those same players can take 75 percent off the B-11 Strikeforce's sticker price and 85 percent off the Imponte Ruiner 2000, plus 10 percent off all of the vehicle and amenity discounts listed above.
This week also marks the second week of the illustrious Diamond Program, and all the tiers have different surprises in store for players.
- Silver Status – Penthouse owners only need to log into GTA Online this week to get into Silver, and make a quick GTA$250,000.
- Gold Status – complete the second Casino Story Mission, "House Keeping,” for access to Gold which gives an additional GTA$50K and a playing cards-themed Royal Tattoo.
- Platinum Status - complete 5 Casino Work assignments for Ms. Baker to get into the penultimate Platinum tier, which adds another GTA$50K and throws in a vintage Benny's Original Motor Works poster for your penthouse
- Diamond Status – complete all Casino Story missions to get into the highest tier, Diamond, which adds another GTA$50K and gives out the exclusive Red Diamond Tee.
Players who’ve already reached certain tiers need only log in to GTA Online from August 15 to August 21 to receive these rewards. Completing all prerequisites for each tier grants a total of GTA$400K, plus all of the exclusive benefits associated with each tier.
Grand Theft Auto Online is now available to play on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
