Developer Arc System Works released update 1.41 for Guilty Gear Strive which adds the new Team of 3 mode and introduces a ton of fixes for the game.

The fixes affect a lot of characters in the game, including Potemkin, Faust, and many others. The developers have confirmed that Guilty Gear Strive still has a lot of issues despite the release of update 1.41.

The studio noted that it will work on addressing more of these issues moving forward with future updates that will be announced at a later date. The arrival of the new 3v3 mode is now part of the base game after undergoing two beta trials.

The new Team of 3 mode lets players party with two other people and fight against other groups of players. The first person will start with the main character and the match will proceed as normal.

The other two players can then control their characters and provide assists using different skills and attacks. This new mode has turned Guilty Gear Strive into some sort of a team fighter that brings chaotic fun, according to Event Hubs.

Players can customize their skill loadouts between five different roles and 32 skills but there are some pre-sets that you can choose from.

The original iterations of the Team of 3 mode were pure chaos and have since received a ton of adjustments and changes before coming to the game.

The latest update also makes some changes to the Training Mode, adding Burst Gauge Auto Recovery, 1P Burst Gauge, and 2P Burst Gauge options. These new settings in the Psych Burst settings make it possible for players to set the gauge level in finer detail.

A Ton of Changes

A lot of players criticized the game's recent Season 4 update due to changes to the playstyles of various characters in the game. Producer Ken Miyauchi responded by acknowledging player feedback and saying that they discussed the issues internally, Game Rant said.

The new Team of 3 mode features ranked play and players who matchmake will be pitted against other players based on skill. Ranked places players in ranks from Iron up to Diamond depending on how good they are against other people.

Ramlethal was considered to have received the most advantageous buffs in the last update for Guilty Gear Strive. The latest patch now evens her out with her sword projectiles no longer proceeding if she gets hit, according to Shacknews.
