343 Industries’ Bonnie Ross has confirmed that Halo Infinite will be present at E3 2019, which is already less than 100 days away. At the expo, game director Chris Lee is scheduled to hold a discussion about the title as well as unveil some of the content, gameplay, and features that players can expect from Halo Infinite.
Following the release of 2015’s Halo 5: Guardians, fans have been eagerly waiting for the next installment to the beloved Xbox franchise. Halo Infinite was finally revealed in a trailer for the new SlipSpace engine at last year ’s E3. The new engine adds all-new technical capabilities, so fans of the franchise can expect bigger and better gameplay features for the upcoming title. Although fans are already getting excited for more details on Halo Infinite, it seems the true star of the show is the SlipSpace engine. The new and improved game engine will debut with Halo Infinite, and based on the demonstration video below, it’s looking fantastic so far.
With a brand-spanking-new engine and the future of the franchise on its shoulders, Halo Infinite is a promising title that may or may not bring with it some revolutionary gameplay, performance, and visual experiences.
So far, Halo Infinite has been announced for Windows PCs and Xbox One. However, there are rumors flying around that Halo Infinite will release alongside Microsoft’s new Xbox, which is expected to be revealed at E3 2019 as well.
