There it is! We finally have an actual release date for Halo Infinite , one of the most highly anticipated titles and a system seller for Xbox. After the game was initially delayed by an entire year, fans were worried that the title may get delayed again. Thankfully, that’s not the case. The developer, 343 Industries, announced yesterday that Halo Infinite will be available on December 8, 2021.
The next entry in the sci-fi FPS franchise will be released on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass. The developer also announced that both the single-player campaign and multiplayer mode will be launched together.
As we already know, MP mode will be free for everyone and supported by the Battle Pass system. The game will have different Seasons similar to Apex Legends, Black Ops Cold War, and Warzone.
Cinematic Trailer
343 Industries also revealed that each season will focus on one of the characters. A cinematic trailer of Season 1 has already been released, and it seemed focused on the female Spartan soldier, Commander Agryna, who was training recruits in the previous trailers. The trailer showed that she was saved by other Spartan soldiers and then decided to join up.
“Humanity's forces are scattered. Desperate resistance efforts have continued to fall short on multiple fronts... But there is hope: a new generation of Spartans, training in secret to become unstoppable,” the official description on YouTube.
It seems like Halo Infinite is shaping up to be a great game. The initial reception about the beta has been very positive from both fans and critics. The only issue that has been bothering some players is the outdated graphics. But hey, visuals of a game don’t completely define it.
