Halo: The Master Chief Collection is rising in popularity ever since it came out in December 2019. The game is very nostalgic for veteran fans and this remaster brought in even more fans to the series for a really low price.
343 Industries started out by launching Halo: Reach first on Steam, but there were some major delays as the developers wanted to polish Reach before they actually launched it. Now, 343 Industries is working on the other Halo games in the Master Chief Collection and will be releasing them chronologically starting with Halo: Combat Evolved, which came out earlier this month. The following order should be Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and then Halo 4.
Bringing the games to PC was one of the best ideas 343 Industries had, as Halo: The Master Chief Collection has soared in sales and topped the Steam charts. This is even more impressive as they have only released two of the six games.
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary also fixed some updates with its most recent patch. These fixes include:
- Mod support
- Terminal videos
- MP deterministic model on PC.
- Localization work
- Bug Fixing
- Flight Support
Even more improvements will be included in future patches as 343 Industries continues to port Master Chief Collection to PC, and the team is looking to its fans to let them know what the biggest issues are. “Since launch, I and many others spent time digging through feedback threads across Halo Waypoint and social media. I took a deeper look into our MCC PC feedback thread posted here on Halo Waypoint and tallied up the key topics and themes that are important to players," 343 Industries Community Support & Engagement Coordinator Tyler “Postums” Davis said on Twitter. "Once I finished reading through EVERYTHING, I passed the most prevalent community requests to the Publishing Team to help inform future development and production considerations.”
