Harry Potter: Wizards Unite finally revealed its plans for January. Deal with the usual Brilliant Event and Community Day. Next, join the birthday celebration of a special wizard. Then, experience the new event of the month.
Community Day
This month, the Community Day is on January 23 from 12:01 AM to 11:59 AM, local time. Players need to visit King’s Cross Station and search for Platform 9 ¾. Don’t forget to catch the Hogwarts Express while you're there.
Brilliant Event
Like in previous months, the Brilliant Event is divided into two parts. The theme for this month is the Triwizard Tournament titled Triwizarding Secrets.
Part 1 is going to be on January 12 from 2:00 PM ET until January 19 at 2:00 PM ET. Wizards need to bring back Brilliant Foundables from the Brilliant Great Hall, which include the Goblet of Fire and even Mad-Eye Moody’s Eye.
Part 2, meanwhile, is scheduled on January 26 at 2:00 PM ET through February 2 at 2:00 PM ET. The Brilliant Foundables that need to be returned are from the Brilliant Prefects’ Bathroom, which include Moaning Myrtle and the Marauder’s Map.
Happy Birthday!
We mentioned a birthday and it’s none other than Professor Severus Snape. Harry Potter fans, of course, know when but just in case you’ve forgotten, it’s on January 9. An event celebrating Snape’s birthday is set for the whole day. Take the time to surprise the Potions Master.
Adversaries Event
This looks to be a new event and likely added to the monthly activities. It’s going to start on January 19 at 2:00 ET and run through January 22 at 2:00 ET. Wizards must refine their combat skills as they need to go against none other than the Ancient Hungarian Horntail.
The Adversaries are actually a new feature in the game wherein players battle different villains in the Harry Potter Universe. The first Adversary Event was held last December 18, and it featured Fenrir Greyback and Draco Malfoy.
