Read up Hearthstone fans! If you’re one of those looking for interesting matches, then you’re in luck. That’s because Battlegrounds Brawl is back and it’s going to be this Wednesday, May 12 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A total of 16 creators are divided into four teams to fight for a large share of the $100,000 pie.
Making the competition more exciting are the casters Dan "Frodan" Chou and Jacinta Patricia "Jia" Dee.
The Teams
The Battlegrounds Brawl: Battle of the Boars will be broadcasted live on Hearthstone’s official YouTube and Twitch channels. It’s also set to be streamed through the channels of the creators themselves, which are:
- Team: Bristlebacks
- Team: Razormanes
- Team: Razorfens
- Team: Briarbacks
Tournament Mechanics
In this competition, two games are going to be played simultaneously each round with two members of each team taking part per game. At the end of each round, points are awarded based on the placement of every individual competitor and added to the total point score of the team. The points are:
- 1st place finish = 5 points awarded
- 2nd place finish = 4 points awarded
- 3rd place finish = 2 points awarded
- 4th place finish = 1 point awarded
The final placement and prizing are then determined by the total point score of each team after seven rounds.
