Hello Neighbor 2 Alpha 1's latest update, Patch 6, was released yesterday. The update is an important one as it adds new features to the game and also quashes some bugs. The AI of Hello Neighbor 2 has been improved upon and crash issues are fixed.
The update added the drone back into the game. New animations and behavior have been added for the cat, Imbir. The canister will now explode if you throw it into the fireplace. You can also use the rope to knock down the Guest. Speaking of rope, the crash issues regarding the item will not happen anymore. The main menu control prompt will now depend on whether you are playing with a controller or keyboard and mouse.
Yesterday’s update also brought many bug fixes to Hello Neighbor 2. You can read about them below and on the official site.

- The drone is back in the game
- Fixed and improved AI behavior
- You can now knock the Guest down using a rope. The rope has to be tied on one end with the other hand in the player's hands.
- Added new behavior and animations for Imbir (the cat)
- Controls prompt in the menu now switch depending on your input (keyboard and mouse/controller)
- Fixed switching between items in the inventory when using a controller
- Fixed the wooden planks getting stuck while being torn off
- Fixed the ability to burn items in the fireplace while holding them in hands
- Fixed the ability to leave a hiding spot while using a display
- Fixed the second-floor window, you can now jump through it
- Fixed a bug that would cause players to get stuck inside the house (collisions of the floor and the walls) after being caught by the Guest
- The canister now explodes when thrown into the fireplace
- Fixed crashes that occurred when using a rope
