There's a new feature available in The Sims 4 and it's one that's sure to be enjoyable for everyone. It's called "Events" and it offers a limited time experience that focuses centered around a fun theme and offers free rewards or gameplay which introduces new opportunities.
The first Event is titled "The Sims 4 Happy at Home Login Event." In this one, players get to earn rewards by simply logging in. It's going to run for five weeks with different rewards available each week. Once you've claimed the rewards for a particular week, you then need to come back the next week to obtain more. You'll likely need to log in at least eight times if you want to unlock all rewards.
The Weekly Rewards
Here's what you can look forward to in this first Event:
- Week 1
- Bullseye Dartboard
- Night Sky Layered Necklace
- Guerdon Goods Mini Fridge & Guerdon Goods NanoCan
- Week 2
- Serenity Hairstyle
- The Cool & Compact Bar
- Week 3
- The Pure Pillow
- Practice Makes Perfect trait
- Week 4
- Guerdon Goods Vending Machine
Now you're probably wondering why there are only four weeks of rewards when we mentioned earlier that Events run for five weeks? The extra week is there for a chance to claim those rewards, especially players who joined late.
Claim the Rewards
Now for those of you excited about this new experience, some are probably asking how to get these rewards. Well, here's what you need to do:
- Each day, new game items are unlocked and ready to be claim from The Sims 4 main menu.
- Click the Event tile on the main menu to view the Event screen.
- From the Event screen, select "claim" on any unclaimed Event rewards.
- The claimed rewards are added to Build Mode or Create-a-Sim.
- There's a new Event filter under the Special category in both Create-a-Sim and Build Mode that lets you quickly find the rewards claimed.
- Each week a new set of rewards becomes available to view.
- Any days you miss claiming your reward can be claimed at any time during the duration of the Event.
- This can be done for up to one week after the Event ends.
