Hitman 3, the final installation for the rebooted Hitman trilogy, will release in January of 2021. IO Interactive, the developers of the Hitman series, have confirmed the launch of multiple new game modes, the return of Elusive Targets and Contracts Mode, and much more. Hitman 3 will launch across multiple platforms such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Hitman 3 will bring back one of the most famous game modes, Elusive Targets. In this game mode, you have one chance of eliminating your target, made even more difficult by the removal of the HUD. The realism this game mode provides makes it very interesting and tough to play, but sometimes it can be annoying to wander around the open world without finding your target.
Escalation is a game mode in which you can do anything to eliminate the target. You will have to face a lot of obstacles such as disguise restrictions, added security cameras, and other kinds of difficulties, which make the game more challenging.
For those of you still playing the currently available Hitman games, Ghost mode, the 1v1 competitive mode which was released with Hitman 2, will shut down on August 31, 2020. “We want to send a sincere thank you to all of our players who have enjoyed Ghost Mode over the last two years. We’re looking forward to a few more matches online and raising a glass for Ghost Mode one final time,” the official blog post stated. “One other thing; The Phantom Suit, which can only be unlocked by playing Ghost Mode, will be added as an unlock in Hitman 3 .”
If you follow the Hitman franchise, then you know how action-packed and intense the gameplay can be. Personally, I think IO Interactive has been doing a fantastic job with the franchise and I can’t wait for the final installation of Hitman.
So, what are your thoughts on Hitman 3? Do you think IO Interactive will impress fans for the final installment? Whatever your thoughts may be, let us know in the comments below.
