One last trailer for Horizon Zero Dawn is out now, just four days before the critically acclaimed open-world RPG makes its PlayStation 4 debut, featuring three more minutes of people, places and things we’ll see when Horizon Zero Dawn at the end of the month. The new footage also makes it pretty easy to understand why so many Horizon Zero Dawn players are enjoying Photo Mode as much as any other feature in the game.
Sure, none of the footage featured in the Horizon Zero Dawn launch trailer is actual gameplay. It’s all cinematics, taken from the early hours of the campaign, but (having finished the game) I’d say the video offers a pretty reasonable idea of what to expect from the Decima engine. Players get another look at some of the creatures they’ll encounter in Guerrilla’s first open-world RPG, most of which have appeared in previous videos by this point, and a handful of the many places Aloy will visit during her journey. The clip also includes a brief glimpse of the civilization that came before what’s left of mankind. Don’t worry, there aren’t any spoilers in the Horizon Zero Dawn launch trailer. But it’s not going to make the wait for Feb. 28 feel any shorter.
