Horizon Zero Dawn patch 1.06 is finally here. This update has been in development for more than three weeks and, just like previous patches, brings bug fixes and technical improvements. Horizon Zero Dawn was much more stable after update 1.05, but, it still had some minor crash issues. Hopefully this patch can iron out even more of these issues.
Crashes that occurred during the streaming compute shader have been fixed. HDR issues caused by the black scene have been fixed. The adaptive FPS option will not give you lower performance anymore. To make sure you have updated your copy to 1.06, you can check the game version via the executable details option.
The update also made an important gameplay improvement. Aloy will now run where the camera is looking. She will not run at a weird slanted angle anymore.
While the majority of game-breaking issues have been fixed, there are still tons of minor issues that still persist. Guerrilla Games is slowly, but surely, improving the state of Horizon Zero Dawn. Check out the complete patch notes of the update below. They are also mentioned on the official site over here.
