The Shadowlands expansion for World of Warcraft is set to be released on November 23. To celebrate the upcoming launch, HyperX announced it has teamed up with Blizzard for a livestream event. This event can be viewed on the official Twitch channel of HyperX on November 20 starting at 1:00 PM EST.
HyperX is a division of Kingston Technology Company and develops gaming products for all types of gamers. For this particular livestream event, HyperX will be joined by many of the familiar WoW faces, musicians, and even voice actors. There’s also going to be developers from Blizzard and even esports pros joining in the fun. During the event, viewers have the chance to win great prizes that are sure to help with on their journey to the WoW afterlife.
One of the exciting features that players are looking forward to with Shadowlands is the new character customization options. These include facial and hair designs that players can use to improve how their characters look. You can read more of that here.
With this deep in-game customization, HyperX revealed that its NGenuity software allows gamers to personalize their gaming gear not only with specialized commands, but can even use RGB lighting to customize how their gear looks. There’s no question that HyperX enables players to extend the personality of their characters to their peripherals, whether it’s a Pulsefire Raid mouse or an Alloy Elite 2 keyboard.
In a press statement, HyperX Head of Global Gaming Partnerships Jessany Van’t Hoff said that as part of their long-standing partnership with Blizzard, they “are excited to offer our #HyperXFamily the chance to celebrate this amazing franchise’s latest expansion pack three days ahead of its release.” She went on to say that gamers are also able to play better when it comes to HyperX and that the “prize giveaway during the live Twitch stream will ensure that a lucky few will have the ultimate personalization experience when playing World of Warcraft: Shadowlands.”
Shadowlands is the eighth expansion to be released for World of Warcraft. This upcoming expansion is going to introduce players to the realm of the dead. Initially, Shadowlands was planned to be released on October 27, but was later postponed to November 23. The new release date is actually better since it also happens to be the 16th anniversary of World of Warcraft.
