Immortals Fenyx Rising is set to launch its first DLC this Thursday, January 28. It’s titled “A New God” and available on all platforms. For this new DLC, Fenyx has been tasked with facing the Trials of the Olympians to earn a place in Olympus along with other Greek Gods.
Players get the chance to explore the Olympus Palace as they interact with new gameplay mechanics. On their journey, they get to unlock four new ability upgrades. They can even get a new gear set that offers perks like being able to perform additional jumps.
A New God is the first of three DLCs planned to be released for the game. The second one is Myths of the Eastern Realm that introduces Chinese mythology. Meanwhile, the third and final DLC is called The Lost Gods. Like the second DLC, it brings a new hero to let players experience a new perspective in playing the game. The upcoming DLC can be purchased as standalone content. It can also be purchased as part of the Season Pass, which already has all the DLCs. The Season Pass is available for $39.99 and you can buy it here.
Immortals Fenyx Rising was released in December 2020. Players take on the role of the demigod Fenyx as they take on a quest in order to save the Greek gods and Olympus. The game offers players a large open world that’s divided into different regions, each inspired by Greek Gods.
Even before the new DLC is launched, players can enjoy the new event, which is a crossover with the Netflix show Blood of Zeus. They get to go against two well-known monsters of Greek mythology, and in return, have the chance to earn exciting rewards.
For those who have bought the game, Immortals Fenyx Rising is offered in Standard and Gold Editions. The Gold Edition has the full game, Season Pass, and extra digital content including the Hades the Shadowmaster Character Pack, Orion’s Blessed Weapons Pack, and Prism Wings.
