Developer MachineGames released the second update for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which fixes various issues and introduces more improvements to the game.

The latest update is now live for PC and Xbox consoles and introduces several general gameplay, missions, and quest fixes.

One notable example is that it also provides NVIDIA DLSS fixes that are expected to improve the game's performance while playing with the upscaler enabled.

On the other hand, there are also some Frame Generation fixes that essentially introduce support for GPUs that have less than 8G of VRAM.

This is because, previously, global illumination was completely disabled for these graphics cards, which means that the game was basically unplayable.

The second update for the game also provides some Global Illumination improvements on Xbox Series X/S. It fixes various issues where shadowed areas appeared much brighter than expected.

The latter changes were quite noticeable based on comparison screenshots that publisher Bethesda shared on its official website. That was where the studio also shared the full patch notes for the game's second update, according to WCCFTech.

The publisher also noted that the second update was designed to fix more of the game's annoying issues. There were a few mission-blocking bugs that were fixed, including one where Gina simply stopped and did not proceed to an objective.

Other settings problems that were fixed with the latest update include HDR issues, lighting bugs, and a few frame generation glitches.

Despite the many fixes that the new update brings, there are still many areas of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle that could be improved.

A Variety of Fixes and Improvements

Some players have noticed that there was one instance in the game that was not listed in the patch notes, which is where Gina's AI breaks down during important mission tasks.

Many fans are now hoping that more of these annoying issues could be fixed in a future update, Sports Illustrated said.

One of the general fixes with the second update addressed an issue where some users' Game Slot could be reported as being damaged or appear to be missing altogether. This happened even though no problem had actually occurred.

Another gameplay fix with the new update was where players could sometimes be unable to equip Indy's iconic whip. It also fixed an issue where players could end up with Indy's camera being permanently equipped.

Furthermore, an issue where Indy could drop and lose his camera if players use the quick-equip prompt while inspecting another nearby pick-up item was fixed, according to Bethesda.
